Windows voice typing leans on online services and stops at dictation. Ceylo runs offline in 51 languages, filters out silence instead of inventing words, transcribes both sides of a meeting on labeled tracks, and learns your field's vocabulary through six Domain Packs. Ceylo also keeps every recording and transcript on your own PC.
Is my audio uploaded anywhere?
Ceylo never uploads your audio. The speech model runs on your own machine, and recordings, transcripts and exports stay in files on your PC. Ceylo does use the network to fetch a speech model, check for updates, and keep licensing honest, which includes an anonymous code for your computer and your free-plan counts. None of that carries audio or text.
Does Ceylo work offline?
Ceylo transcribes fully offline. After the one-time speech model download, Ceylo keeps dictating with the network cable unplugged, in all 51 languages. Ceylo still reaches the network when it can, to check for updates and to keep the trial and free-plan counts honest, and every one of those calls fails quietly when there is no connection.
Do I need to be technical to use Ceylo?
Ceylo needs no technical skill. Installing it takes about a minute: run the installer, pick a speech model, and hold your hotkey to talk. There is no account, no configuration file, and no command line. Ceylo lives in the Windows tray and stays out of the way until you hold the key.
Which languages does Ceylo support?
Ceylo supports 51 languages: 50 named languages plus auto-detect, which picks the language for you. The list includes English, Spanish, French, German, Portuguese, Russian, Hebrew, Arabic, Hindi, Chinese, Japanese and Korean. One speech model covers all of them, so switching language costs nothing. For a few languages Ceylo also offers a model trained specifically for that language, and suggests it when you choose the language.
What does the one-time purchase include?
The Ceylo one-time purchase includes every update in the 1.x series, on up to three computers you use. If a major new version ever ships, upgrading is a choice rather than a bill, and nothing you already bought turns off. Your library and your exports stay open on any plan, including the free one.
