Who makes and operates Ceylo?

Ceylo is made and operated by Labass Digital Creative, Israel ("we", "us"). These terms govern your use of the Ceylo application and this website. By installing or using Ceylo, you agree to them. If you do not agree, do not use the app.

What is Ceylo?

Ceylo is a Windows application that turns speech into text on your own computer. Speech models run locally on your hardware. Accuracy depends on your microphone, your environment, the language spoken, and the model you choose. Transcription is never perfect, and Ceylo is not suitable as the sole record where an error could cause harm. You are responsible for reviewing what it produces.

You are responsible for using Ceylo lawfully, including recording other people only where you are permitted to do so. Recording laws differ by country and by situation. Ceylo gives you the tool; the responsibility for consent is yours.

How do the Ceylo free tier, trial, and paid plans work?

Every new Ceylo install gets a 14-day trial with every feature unlocked. No card, no account.

After the trial, Ceylo keeps working on a free tier: a limited number of dictations per calendar month. Meeting recording, meeting transcripts and summaries are part of the paid plan, and so is transcribing an audio or video file you already have. Whatever you already created stays readable and exportable, always. We do not hold your transcripts hostage.

Paid plans are sold monthly, yearly, or as a one-time purchase, at the prices shown on this site at the time of purchase. Subscriptions renew automatically until you cancel, and you can cancel any time from your account page at ceylo.live/account/.

What does a paid Ceylo license allow?

A paid Ceylo plan gives you a personal, non-exclusive, non-transferable license to use the app. You may activate one license on up to three computers you use, and you can release a computer to free the slot. Do not resell, sublicense, rent, or redistribute the app, your license key, or the bundled models. Do not attempt to bypass licensing or the free-tier limits.

We may deactivate a license that is shared publicly, resold, or used to circumvent these terms. We will tell you why and, where a mistake was ours, put it right.

Who processes payments for Ceylo?

Ceylo purchases are processed by our payment provider, which acts as merchant of record. They are the seller for the transaction, they handle taxes, and their name appears on your receipt and card statement. We never see or store your card details.

How do Ceylo updates and changes to these terms work?

Ceylo checks for updates and can install them with your approval. We may add, change, or retire features as the product develops. If a change materially reduces what a paid plan gives you, we will say so clearly in advance.

We may update these terms. The date at the top of this page shows the last change, and material changes will be announced in the app or by email to customers.

What warranty and liability does Ceylo carry?

Ceylo is provided as is, without warranties of any kind to the extent permitted by law. We do not promise it will be uninterrupted or error free, or that transcription will reach any particular accuracy.

To the extent permitted by law, our total liability for any claim relating to Ceylo is limited to the amount you paid us in the twelve months before the claim. We are not liable for indirect or consequential loss, including lost profits or lost data. Nothing here limits liability that cannot be limited by law, and consumer rights you have under your local law are not affected.

Which law governs the Ceylo terms?

The Ceylo terms are governed by the laws of the State of Israel, and the competent courts of Tel Aviv-Jaffa have jurisdiction, without limiting any mandatory consumer protection right you have where you live.
