How does Voice Typing work in Ceylo?
Voice Typing is Ceylo's core mode: put your cursor anywhere you would type, hold your hotkey, speak, and release. Ceylo transcribes on your own PC and types clean, punctuated text into the window you were already in.
How accurate is Ceylo, and which languages does it cover?
Ceylo covers 51 languages: 50 named languages plus auto-detect. Accuracy depends on your microphone, the room, the language and the speech model you pick, and Ceylo gives you three ways to raise it.
Can Ceylo transcribe a meeting?
Ceylo records and transcribes meetings on Windows as part of Pro. Any call playing through your PC is captured, including Google Meet, Zoom and Teams, with no plugin inside the meeting app and no bot joining the call.
Can Ceylo transcribe an audio file?
Ceylo transcribes an audio or video file you already have on your PC. Pick the file and Ceylo converts it and transcribes it on your own machine, then saves it in your library beside your meetings. Transcribing a file is part of Ceylo Pro.
Where does Ceylo keep your audio and transcripts?
Ceylo keeps your audio and transcripts on your own computer. The speech model runs on your hardware, so no audio and no text is ever uploaded, and Ceylo has no account system at all.
What does Ceylo need to run?
Ceylo needs Windows 10/11, 64-bit, and a microphone. The installer is about 55 MB; the speech model downloads inside the app afterwards, which is why the first run asks for a second download.
