Does Ceylo upload my audio or my transcripts?

Ceylo's speech models run on your machine. Your voice is recorded, processed, and stored locally. Audio, transcripts, meeting notes and summaries are never uploaded to us or to anyone else. We could not read them if we wanted to: they never reach us.

Ceylo has no account system. There is no sign-up, no password, and no profile of you on our side.

What data does the Ceylo app send over the internet?

The Ceylo app sends exactly three things over the internet, and nothing else leaves your computer:

One: the speech model you choose, downloaded once from its public host. Two: update checks, which ask our server for the current version number. Three: licensing. If you are on a paid plan, the app checks that your license key is valid and how many computers it is active on; activating a key also sends the name Windows gives your computer, so that you can tell your own devices apart when you manage them. To keep the free tier and the trial fair, the app also sends an anonymous identifier derived from your computer, so a trial cannot be restarted endlessly by reinstalling. Alongside it travel the three numbers that keep the free plan honest: when your trial began, which month the counter belongs to, and how many dictations you have used in it. That identifier is not your name, your email, or anything about what you dictate.

None of these three carry audio or text. Ceylo works offline once the model is downloaded.

What does the ceylo.live website collect?

The ceylo.live website uses basic analytics and, when advertising campaigns run, a Meta Pixel: standard visit measurement so we know which pages work. This concerns the website only, never the app or your audio.

If you write to us, we keep the email so we can answer it.

What happens to my payment details when I buy Ceylo?

Ceylo payments are handled by our payment provider, acting as merchant of record. They process your payment details; we never see your card number. We receive what is needed to issue and support your license: your email and order details.

How do I ask what data Ceylo holds about me?

Ceylo holds so little about you that most requests are simple. Write to support@ceylo.live and we will tell you exactly what we have about you, correct it, or delete it. Data controller: Labass Digital Creative, Israel.
