Ceylo has nothing for IT to administer.

Is there a business or team plan?

No: Ceylo sells one product, with a Free plan and a Pro plan, at $8 a month, $79 a year or $149 once. There are no seats, no volume tier, no purchase order flow and no negotiated agreement. Buying Ceylo for several people means buying several licenses through the same checkout everyone else uses. If your organization needs centrally managed licensing, Ceylo does not have it.

How many machines does one license cover?

One paid Ceylo license covers three computers. Activations move: a machine can be released to free its slot, and the license activated on a replacement. Releasing is done from one of the other activated devices rather than from the machine being retired, so a laptop that has already left the building needs a message to support instead.

What would a security review actually have to approve?

Ceylo transcribes on the machine, so no audio, transcript, export or summary is sent anywhere to be processed, and there is no account, no password store and no single sign-on to integrate. What does leave a machine is the traffic Ceylo needs to fetch a speech model, check for updates and keep licensing honest, and none of it carries audio or text. The Privacy page lists it in full, and it is the page to hand a reviewer.

Does anything have to be deployed centrally?

Ceylo needs nothing deployed centrally, and offers nothing that could be. Each person runs the same installer everyone else downloads, picks a speech model inside the app, and either stays on the free plan or activates a license key. Ceylo ships as a single Windows installer with no packaged deployment alongside it. The app shows a license holder which machines their own key is on, and nothing above that: no organization view, and nothing reporting one person's activity to another.

What does Ceylo cover on a call?

Ceylo transcribes any call playing through the PC, including Google Meet, Zoom and Teams, by recording the microphone on one track and the computer's own audio on the other. No bot joins the call and nothing appears in the participant list. Meetings are part of Ceylo Pro. The transcript labels the two sides rather than naming individuals, and telling participants they are being recorded stays a human responsibility.

Where Ceylo does not fit an organization

Stated plainly, because finding out during a procurement review is worse for both of us:

• No single sign-on, no directory sync, no provisioning and no admin console.
• No volume licensing, no seat pooling and no negotiated agreement. One license, three machines, bought at the listed price.
• No data processing agreement and no compliance certification. There is nothing processing your content to certify, which is the argument, not a substitute for a document you may be required to hold.
• No centrally managed deployment or configuration. Every install is a person running an installer.
• Windows 10 and 11 only, so a mixed fleet is only partly covered.
• No per-person speaker recognition in meetings, and no shared workspace: a transcript lives on the machine that made it.
